“How much will it cost to repair my appliance?”
This is the most common question we get on the phone.
That is a “crystal ball” question. Because we don’t really know until we see what’s wrong. But here are some guidelines:
Our service call is $75.00 to come out to your house and diagnose what’s wrong. Then the tech will tell you from there exactly how much your repair will cost.
Scenarios:
Dryers not heating, not turning or making noise:
Most typical dryer repairs run between $150-$200 on average. If the dryer needs a motor or a computer board, the cost would be higher.
Refrigerators not cooling:
Almost all typical refrigerator repairs run between $150-$300+. If your refrigerator has a bad compressor, the tech will have to talk to you about that at the time.
Clothes washers not spinning, agitating, noisy, not responding:
Most typical washer repairs run around $150-175. More if it’s a transmission, motor, computer control, etc.
My oven shows an error code on the display:
When we hear the complaint of “F1” error codes, or maybe "E1-F3” error codes, or anything else, that could mean a variety of problems. Sometimes, it’s a sensor. Sometimes the touch pad or clock is bad. We don’t know prices until we diagnose the unit.
Oven won’t bake or heat:
It could be a bake element, or maybe an igniter if it’s a gas oven. Usually an easy fix running about $175-$200 on average.
Burners on a stove or cook top:
Most of time this is a standard, easy repair. Cost depends on how many burners and parts needed. Typical cost is $150 and higher.
Microwave not heating
Most repairs run anywhere from $100-$250+++ most of the time. Every case is different.
